But how in the world do you make a live action movie based off of Higurashi? It'd have to be broken into how many different movies to actually work? I have a feeling if they plan on squeezing it into one movie, I'd rather watch the AV version again. And if it's broken up into a few, it'll probably get screwed like Death Note was. For it to really work, they'll have to change up a lot and there won't be any mystery or fun in it. Frankly, it'll probably just cater to the types that like the bloodshed. But whatever, I think everybody can understand this with common sense.

On another note, I finally finished up HiguMatsuri. Now that I got to replay it and refresh my memory, I have to say that "Miotsukushi-hen" is an extremely badass ending. Not that I don't like "Matsuribayashi-hen" as an ending or anything but it just doesn't quite compare. Oh well, at least game players have something to brag about in terms of extra arcs and anime fans get a "Good End" so they can be happy.

In other words, this week was Metal Gear Satoko on Higurashi. Everybody is going to have a field day on 2ch tonight discussing MADs and what not. Since it's still anime original (and the last) I don't mind mocking it right now. So hopefully the MGS MADs start rolling out. They're probably being discussed as I type. Gone to go help my fellow VIPPERs.


Joking on 2ch just leads to bad things. Now I'll be photoshopping stuff like this all week.

HiguMatsuri Update: Tatarigoroshi-hen has been completed. I'm now in the midst of Himatsubushi-hen and using my Akesaka Kung-Fu action. I forgot how fucking scary Satoko is when she screams in the game. It sounded like a banshee getting beat over the head with a wailing cat that possibly had rabies.

Today I decided to try random battling on Pokemon Battle Revolution. Most of it went smoothly as I went towards the Double Battle side most of the time. My Dragonite and Garchomp combo rolled over most of the competition. Especially when they both were in the midst of Outrage. I also had fun taking down Legendaries with my non-legendary team. Eventually I threw a Manaphy on my team to counter certain legendaries but I hardly used it anyway. Plus playing as the little girl trainer is too much fun. I just need to mess with custom phrases now to really mess with people.

Next on the agenda is a question to the Higurashi anime watchers with a good memory. Did they ever make it clear that Rika knew about the repeating timeline in the first season? I don't think they did but I can't say I remember all of the conversations they had that may have left a clue to her awareness. If they didn't then I guess this arc is good for that. It's doing a good job of showing how Rika takes it now that I've seen the third episode. Here's hoping she's the villain of this anime original arc.

OMG, I'm in the newest Official GA site Anime Expo video. Bet you can't guess who I am. Seriously...

So I guess the anime-original arc of HiguKai, Yakusamashi-hen, may not be too useless to the anime. But it makes me a little upset still. I don't know but since I played the games it seems like they could have done a lot more. But if I complain too much, the anime only fans hate me. At least it's good for them since Mr.07 is throwing in some useful info that they missed in the first season.

Anyhow, my replay of HiguMatsuri isn't going too badly. At least I've made it through Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen, and Taraimawashi-hen. Then from there I just started Tatarigoroshi-hen. Going at a breakneck pace, I know. I was going to get some of the answer arcs done, but I figured I'd get the most confusing chapter out of the way first. I actually stumbled upon Taraimawashi-hen by complete accident to be honest because I was planning to do Tatarigoroshi-hen before it. From there I don't know what I want to do next.

This is all just to refresh myself on all the TIPS before the good part of HiguKai starts anyway. It's just too bad they didn't include Miotsukushi-hen in the second season. But like I figured, it was done too little too late to be included. Too bad anime viewers, you don't get to see the real ending.

Last comment anyhow. This reminded me that Umineko no Naku Koro ni comes out next month around this time (yay Comiket!). Can't wait to play it, since Mr.07 has yet to disappoint me. I wonder if they'll decide to turn that into an anime...
