I am still alive and well, despite the huge ice storm that hit around where I live. Somehow our county managed to be the one place that COMPLETELY avoided any bad conditions. Just a few flickering lights every once and awhile and semi-slick sidewalk. The trees look really pretty though and the streets are as clean as a whistle, so it makes nice winter scenery.

And yes, I'm still in shorts. What would give you the idea that I'd put on a pair of pants in this weather? Below freezing you say? Pah.
