Things that life doesn't prepare you for

I'm pretty sure if you were expecting this picture to be relevant, you'd be sadly mistaken. Incredibly mistaken in fact. So at around 5:10 a.m. or so last night I started heading back from a friend's place after some casual fighting games, Bomberman, and everything else in-between. About the night before I had realized I only had to deal with five or so more nights with my nicely assigned roommate. I had thought this would save me from any more surprises.
Apparently not.
Upon walking in while there was plenty of light outside. I find him in bed. Nothing new. But no, it had to be in bed with another man. One of which had been around a few times before. You know, I really don't mind things like this. But having to walk in on something like that is not pleasant. Especially that early in the morning when you're pretty zoned out. More or less I dusted myself off and went to bed.
Except not.
Around some obscene time I don't remember anymore, his family busted in to help him move out a few things screaming like banshees to the point I had thought it was his one usual acquaintance. Unfortunately not, since it was only his mother and his aunt who were both equally "courteous" to the fact I was in bed. More or less I didn't quite want to go back to bed anymore and decided to lay there. Of course his aunt would have to take a phone call in the room and whoever she was talking to had some complaint to the fact I was sleeping despite it not even being afternoon yet.
Yes, I'm lazy. I got home at 5 a.m. and didn't want to get up yet. On the other hand, my said roommate goes to sleep at 10 p.m. and fails to get up before afternoon hits. I am completely and utterly lazy. Hilariously enough, when I decided to get up and my roommate returned. He apologized for the fact his family was so loud. I more or less wanted to remark that I understood where he got it from but decided it wasn't worth it anymore.
Morale of the story? If your assigned roommate in college is gay. Set incredibly strict guidelines and save yourself the grief later.
